Christmas 2009

The last suggested ordering date for delivery in the UK before Christmas is 20th December 2009.  For deliveries outside the UK, please place your order by 20th December 2009.

Please note that these dates have been advised by Royal Mail and we cannot guarantee actual delivery times.

Orders placed during the Christmas period, 20th December 2009 – 4th January 2010 may take longer to be delivered than stated in our standard delivery times.

 

Delivery & Charges

We aim to deliver your order within 2-5 working days from the successful order notification email confirming your order with us.  We will dispatch your order as soon as possible; this is typically within 24-48 hours.  If for any reason we believe your order will take longer than the 3-5 working days, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date and give you the option to cancel.  If an item is out of stock, you can select it and we’ll send you an email notification once it becomes available.

UK Charges will apply as follows:

For UK orders up to 6 greeting cards delivery is 75p (excludes packs)

For UK orders up to 4 packs of gift wrap & tags delivery is £1

For UK orders up to £10 delivery is £1.95
For UK orders up to £75 delivery is £3.95
For UK orders over £75 qualify for free delivery

Europe Charges will apply as follows:

For Orders in Europe delivery is £15.00

We are able to ship to the following countries in Europe:

We reserve the right to decline to accept any overseas order at our discretion.

Personalised Prints

Please note that these items may take up to 2 weeks to arrive, as they are being dispatched directly from the supplier.  The Suppliers own terms and conditions also apply to these items.  They are delivered by either Courier or First class Royal Mail.

Payment by debit or credit card

All card payments taken online or over the phone are processed automatically with WorldPay secure payment methods through industry standard 128-bit SSL (secure socket layer) security.  If you pay by credit of debit card, your credit card statement will show a payment to Betty’s Bureau Ltd.  If you would prefer to speak with someone when placing your order, we are happy to take your orders over the telephone just call us on 0845 116 1565 and we would be happy to assist you.

Returns

If you do need to return an item, we can only accept returned goods in their original packaging & in perfect condition within 7 days of receipt of goods.  We would recommend for your own protection that when returning goods you use a signed for service and return with a covering letter including your name and address details, product and the order number.  The cost of returning goods to us for a refund is the responsibility of the purchaser. The original delivery charge will be deducted from any refund given.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item please contact us within 3 days of receipt; we can only accept exchanged goods in their original packaging & in perfect condition within 10 days of receipt.  The cost of returning goods to us for an exchange is the responsibility of the purchaser.  In the case of exchanges a re-delivery charge at our standard rate will apply.  If you have received the wrong goods in error then the cost of re-delivery will be incurred by us.

Cancellations

If we have accepted an order from you & you then wish to cancel this order you will need to call us or email as soon as possible before your payment is processed and the items are dispatched. Please quote your Betty’s Bureau order number.
If you have already been sent an email confirming dispatch it means that your payment has already been processed and therefore it will not be possible to cancel your order. In this case it will be necessary for you to return the goods to us by following the ‘Returns’ policy mentioned above.  We can only accept returned goods in their original packaging & in perfect condition.  The cost of returning goods to us for a refund is the responsibility of the purchaser. The original delivery charge will be deducted from any refund given.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Every item is carefully inspected to ensure it is in perfect condition before being shipped.  In the event that any goods received are faulty or damaged, Please contact us immediately upon receipt to arrange for return delivery of the affected item.  All claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of the order.  Goods must be returned within 10 days of receipt of order. We will endeavour to resolve the situation to your satisfaction without delay.

Once we have received the item concerned [in its original packaging & condition] we will ship a replacement or give a full refund for the cost excluding delivery charges.

This does not affect your statutory right to a 7 day working period to return the items from when you receive them.

We will not be held liable for damage or loss of quality resulting from extremes in weather, be it heat, cold or water ingress.

Please note: We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit to us & would recommend that customers obtain proof of posting when returning goods.

These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
